Mr. Voight’s Physical Science Portal is a wonderful example of a teacher blog.  Mr. Voight uses his blog to track daily assignments, explain projects, provide students a platform for their own blogs, and link to other relevant sites.

I just found the neatest middle school science site!  Surprisingly, it’s called Middle School Science.  The site is broken into grade level categories with tons of activities.  Activities include worksheets, websites, and really cool ideas, like converting your name into DNA code and making a bracelet.  Under the Life Science Section, there is a great Classification activity using fingerprint analysis.  Classification of a class or grade could easily be done using excel.
